We do not strictly follow this itinerary; it is merely our suggestion to help you make the most of your experience. The route can be adjusted to match your interests, giving you the freedom to explore what captivates you most in this city full of history and charm.
We suggest starting at the city's stunning viewpoints. The first stop will be at Nossa Senhora do Monte viewpoint in the Graça district, one of Lisbon's highest points, offering a spectacular panoramic view. Next, we head to São Pedro de Alcântara viewpoint, which provides a charming perspective of downtown Lisbon and São Jorge Castle. The latter will be admired from the outside, without an interior visit.
We then continue through the Marquês de Pombal area and descend through the vibrant streets of Chiado, including the famous Rua Augusta, where you can experience the city's lively atmosphere.
Afterward, we proceed to Belém, where you can admire two of the greatest symbols of the Age of Discoveries: the Belém Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries. The Jerónimos Monastery will be admired from the outside, without an interior visit, but with the opportunity to visit the impressive Church of Santa Maria.
To end on a high note, there’s nothing better than tasting an authentic Pastel de Belém at the historic Pastéis de Belém bakery, a true icon of Portuguese gastronomy.
